GERMAN INFANTRY
German Infantry of World War II - a set of three figures that complement the models from the COBI historical collection!
The German infantry was not only the core of the Wehrmacht, but also a key element in conducting warfare on various fronts of World War II - from Western Europe to the East and Africa.
These soldiers were the basic fighting force, taking part in the capture of cities, defending strategic positions and carrying out complex combat maneuvers. Their weapons included not only rifles, machine guns and grenades.
Description of the set:
This unique modeling set contains two realistically reproduced figures of German infantry soldiers and one of the mountain infantry from the period of World War II. Each figure was made with exceptional precision and attention to detail, such as:
• Uniform: Modeled after the original M35 Feldbluse uniform, with characteristic collars and shoulder straps, equipped with four pockets and with detailed historical markings.
• Coat: Model M36 had a characteristic, straight cut, reaching to the knees, and was made of high-quality wool in the color feldgrau (gray-green).
• Helmet: Model M35, made of hardened steel, providing exceptional protection in combat conditions.
• Cap: Bergmütze, a mountain cap with an edelweiss print typical of mountain riflemen, sometimes also called a ski cap or gray cap in Germany, is a headgear derived from Austrian military tradition.
• Weapon: The Mauser Kar98k is a German bolt-action rifle that was the standard firearm of the Wehrmacht during World War II.
